Bausch and Linnemann combine to create BauschLinnemann

Following intensive groundwork, a powerful new partner for the furniture industry will be introduced to the public from July 2004: BauschLinnemann GmbH + Co. KG. Both Bausch, including its English subsidiary Armabord, and Linnemann were for quite some time well-established major players in the furniture surfaces market before being brought together under the auspices of a holding company in 1999. This marked the beginning of a shared future which has been a consistent aim and finally led to a closer approach of the separate the companies, which have until now been operating parallelly. BauschLinnemann proves to be a highly efficient company with structures that have evolved sensibly and where research and development are just as important as service and flexibility. BauschLinnemann has an extensive distribution network worldwide, with international production locations guaranteeing extremely reliable delivery. BauschLinnemann's customers - furniture manufacturers, companies producing coatings and wrappings, as well as panel makers and caravan manufacturers - will benefit from the reorganisation in a number of ways. System provider BauschLinnemann is the market leader in innovation, quality, flexibility and service. On top of this, processors have an extensive product programme at their disposal which meets all their technical and visual requirements. TECOFOIL is the name for surface and wrapping foils. Edgebandings strips will be marketed as TECOLINE. TECOTOP stands for highly resistant CPL laminate. A speciality is TECOVLIES which is used in the processing of real wood veneer. In its dialogue with customers, BauschLinnemann sees itself as an adviser and partner for addressing technical problems and specific design requirements. The group of companies within SURTECO AG is creating additional synergies with the decor printer Bausch Dekor GmbH and companies in the Döllken Group which are the leading specialists worldwide in synthetic edgebandings and high quality extrusion products.
