SURTECO AG takes a 30 percent stake in Saueressig Design Studio GmbH

SURTECO AG has taken a 30 % stake in Saueressig Design Studio GmbH based in Mönchengladbach with effect from 1 January 2005. This move is intended to expand the SURTECO Group’s design competence in printing activities for the Strategic Business Unit Paper. Saueressig Design Studio GmbH is part of Saueressig GmbH + Co., based in Vreden. The group produces printing and embossing forms. Saueressig Design Studio GmbH (40 employees) is active throughout the market for decorative surfaces. The company’s product range includes design development and preparation of reproductions for diverse printing and embossing forms. The necessary research into the latest trend, ongo-ing market observation and many years of experience form the basis for successful and commercial implementation of creative ideas. Dr. Tomas Sterkenburgh has been responsible for this division within the Saueressig Group and he has now been appointed Managing Director of Saueressig Design Studio GmbH.
