SURTECO completes conversion to SE [20/11/2007] The conversion of SURTECO AG to a European company (Societas Europaea) came into effect on 19 November 2007. Now that the entry has been recorded in the Company Register, the company is trading as SURTECO SE.

Report for the First Three Quarters 2007 [09/11/2007] The turbulence in the international financial markets triggered by the real estate crisis in the USA also impacted negatively on SURTECO AG during the third quarter of the current business year.

SURTECO on dynamic growth course [25/09/2007] SURTECO AG has taken some important strategic steps towards implementing the growth planned for the Group. Societas Europaea, SE [21/05/2007] The Board of Management of SURTECO AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT had resolved on 11 October 2006 to propose to the Ordinary Annual General Meeting on 31 August 2007 that the company convert to a European company (Societas Europaea, SE) and draw up a conversion plan.

Report for the first quarter 2007 [11/05/2007] SURTECO AG again generated record figures last year with sales of € 403.2 (+ 2 %) and a pretax profit of € 46.0 (+ 23 %). This positive trend continued during the first quarter. Compared with the equivalent figure in the first quarter of 2006, consolidated sales went up by 1.3 % to € 107.6 million and the leading international specialist for surface technologies achieved a disproportionate increase in earnings.

Free float increases to nearly 24 % [03/05/2007] The successful placement of some 420,000 shares owned by existing shareholders of SURTECO AG with institutional investors has increased the Group’s free float to 23.7 %. In December 2006, the free float was also raised from 14.5 % to 19.9 % by a further placement of shares.

SURTECO acquires skirtings from Gardinia [27/04/2007] SURTECO AG, leading global manufacturer of surface materials based specialist papers for technical applications and plastics, will take over the line in skirtings and edging systems from the Gardenia Home Decor Group under an asset deal on 31 May 2007.

Another record year planned for 2007 [25/04/2007] SURTECO AG, leading manufacturer of surface materials based on plastics and technical papers for the international building and furnishing industry, ended the fiscal year 2006 with new sales and earnings records.

Dividend proposal for 2006 [30/03/2007] The Board of Management and Supervisory Board have agreed to propose an increase in dividend to 1.00 euros for the fiscal year 2006 to the Annual General Meeting to be held in Munich on 31 August 2007 (2005: 0.80 euros).

Preliminary indicators for 2006 [16/03/2007] The company moved ahead in the market during the business year 2006. Sales increased by 2 percent to 403.2 million euros to advance beyond 400 million euros compared with previous figures for the first time. This success is all the more impressive because although the German furnishing industry is starting to recover after four years of negative growth, there are still no signs of a consistent upswing.

SURTECO acquires dealer network in France [09/01/2007] SURTECO AG is the world’s leading supplier of surface technologies based on technical papers for specialist applications and plastics. At the beginning of the year SURTECO AG took over the French company SDCA S.A.S. based in Angers by acquiring a 100 % shareholding.
