Ad-hoc Press Release pursuant to Article § 15 Securities Trading Act WpHG

The Board of Management of SURTECO AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT had resolved on 11 October 2006 to propose to the Ordinary Annual General Meeting on 31 August 2007 that the company convert to a European company (Societas Europaea, SE) and draw up a conversion plan. An appropriate Ad-hoc Press Release was published on 12 October 2006.

The Supervisory Board of our company concurred with this proposal at a meeting on 24 April 2007.
