SURTECO AG acquires dealer network in France

SURTECO AG is the world’s leading supplier of surface technologies based on technical papers for specialist applications and plastics. At the beginning of the year SURTECO AG took over the French company SDCA S.A.S. based in Angers by acquiring a 100 % shareholding. SDCA S.A.S. finishes and markets products for the furniture industry, in particular plastic and melamine edging tapes. These products were mainly sourced from companies in the SURTECO Group. Acquisition of SDCA strengthens the company’s sales organization in Europe’s third biggest furniture production country after Germany and Italy. SDCA generates annual sales of approximately 5 million euros with a staff of eleven employees and some 900 customers. The company will be integrated within the Strategic Business Unit Plastics (Döllken Group) and will operate under the name Doellken France S.A.S. André Plank will be appointed as Managing Director. He has been responsible for exports to France since 1994.
