SURTECO Highlights for the caravan industry

Inviting and open SURTECO presents at this year‘s Caravan Salon 2020 – despite COVID 19 crisis. Despite reduced booth space and additional hygiene measures, we are showing a wide range of current trends and decor developments especially for the caravan sector.

One of our highlights this year was the SEDATECS surface with its outstanding anti-fingerprint properties. The newly developed solid colours with SEDATECS surface also impress with a convincing supermatt finish.

"Over a year we deal with the different manufacturers and models and then develop our own designs especially for this market.“

Valentina Dedi, Designerin

With the elegant walnut decor San Marco and the calm oak Cape Town, our design team has met the ravages of time. Specially developed for the mobile travelling industry, our decors are convincing and will already be seen in the first vehicles next year. The successful Haithabu decor is also gaining momentum with new colours. This impression provides a felt finish that introduces a textile decor into the caravan over a large surface. A real innovation.

Cape Town

Design characteristics: Understated planking, slender light flowers, small knotty buds, clear and filigree pore outlines
Application: Furniture, caravans, doors

The calm oak decor Cape Town features understated planking, slender light flowers and small knotty buds. Clear and filigree pore outlines define the appearance and provide the decor with a stunning depth effect. The associated haptic cylinder supports this three-dimensional impression. A supplementary metallic effect further augments the texture. The well-balanced furniture decor is ideal for use on small and large surfaces, in the caravan sector and for the door industry.

San Marco

Design characteristics: Striated, elegant, meandering movements, free of knots, gentle play of colour, refined pore pattern
Anwendung: Furniture, doors, caravans and interior design

Striated and calm with meandering movements, emulating a stream in nature. San Marco is an elegant walnut decor with a gentle play of colour and refined pore pattern. It recalls the picturesque city of the lagoon – Venice – with its canals and palaces created in the Renaissance and Gothic era. The decor was inspired by the elegance of the impressive edifices in the city’s San Marco quarter, who lent his name to our design. The noble creation is free of knots and it features an aura of naturalness and upscale value. The characteristics are highlighted by an additional haptic and metallic cylinder.

The perfect combination of surface and edge is also becoming increasingly important in caravans. That is why we have already worked out our designs in the various SURTECO products. The edge as an innovative set-off for a work top for example as a 3D edge or the design development Compact-Style were also topics at the Caravan Salon 2020.

"It was important for us as a market leader to be present in this special time and we are very satisfied with the discussions and especially with the decor presentations.“

Mathias Giggenbach, Sales Director

Due to Corona, with significantly fewer exhibitors and visitors, the trade fair was nevertheless a complete success for SURTECO. With its innovative surfaces and individual designs, SURTECO is making a decisive contribution to the transformation of caravan interiors. Camping is not a new living concept, but mobile living is currently experiencing an enormous up-swing.
