Tested quality

We use your requirement as our benchmark. For this reason, we only use the highest-quality plastics available on the market for the manufacture of our thermoplastic edgebands. In total, we work with four different thermoplastics: ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), PP (polypropylene) and 3D (PMMA – polymethyl methacrylate). All materials are regularly tested in independent procedures according to the strict specifications and quality standards of the furniture industry.

Note about lightfastness

All plastics that are exposed to light, change colour over time. Complete lightfastness, therefore, does not exist. Depending on the type of plastic and the colour, a visible colour change occurs faster or slower.
